ScummVM is an implementation of LucasArts S.C.U.M.M. (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion) interpreter,
used in games such as Monkey Island and Day Of The Tentacle. It can interpret SCUMM games that use .001 type
resources at the time. Some things are still missing in a few games, and there are a few bugs. Regardless of
the bugs it is still possible to play some games all the way through to the end (The Secret Of Monkey Island
CD-ROM version played all the way through with the CD Music patch).
For more information on ScummVM visit the main project page.
This is the AmigaOS port called WarpSCUMM, using a custom implementation of a SDL library called WarpSDL.library.
For further details, visit the WarpSDL.library page.
Thanks to the snappy WarpSDL.library, this version of SCUMM can run the games fullspeed and play music and sound(speech) on
a ordinary MC68060/50Mhz, and the PPC version is even faster!
When compiling WarpSCUMM there are basically NO changes whatsoever done to the maincode, it only uses WarpSDL.library instead of SDL.lib.
